When we say Nigeria Decides, what exactly are we deciding? to put in power who we know ? who is more close to our Religion our ethnic group or geopolitical area? these are questions we need to ask our selves why did i vote for who i voted for ? because he is a Christian or Muslim? Because he is from the south or north? or because he is the man that will make things right in NIGERIA?
Have we let our selfishness and PERSONAL interest crowd our judgment? what happened to the giants of Africa? what if we were the Americans that someone born totally out of our country won the election today? will we go killing everyone that is not Nigerian?I weep today for Nigeria because after all these years we still let THE VAIL of tribalism cover us from seeing that what we want for Nigeria is not what we need for Nigeria.
I see the results from the polls and all i think is, we are far from change the president we get today will not go from house to house to force change when we have decided that since it is not someone from my side, from my party that wins then we will create trouble for his government, we forget it is the same Nigeria, why are we so consumed by Greed why cant we look to saving Nigeria? are we that so far goon that we just want what favors us?
Nigeria is ours nobody is coming to help us no external force is coming to save our country instead they will see how weak and less concerned we are and they will take advantage of us, the change we are looking for is not the President that will do it, it is up to all of us, from the North East,West and South the change is up to us let us for 4 years for the next administration forsake our selfish intentions our greed to steal Nigeria money or take from where is not meant for you, let us look at a bigger picture, let us not stare up trouble that may lead to a civil war because we are the once that will suffer from it, let us help each other and the government .
The thing is this all our top government officials go outside the country and the see the difference they see and know what needs to be done and yet they return and do nothing and the small business holder, workers governmental and non governmental no one is satisfied with what they are given everybody wants more and will go extra mile to steal and lie even kill to get more.
Nigerians we are failing our forefathers our ancestors that fought so hard for the peace we have today, let us not go back slavery and war, our children don't have good education you spend 6 years in school for a 4 year course and our schools are so poor, not equipped and not maintain, our roads are horrible, electricity? lets not even mention, Other countries make millions and billions from us, buying Generators, we have Oil in our country and yet the prices of fuel and the rest is higher than country that just buys it, security and so low that our houses have fence higher than a mountain with electric wires, you can even pass a police check point with a dead body and armed so far you shake their hand with a few bucks,
we have a long way to go, so let us work hand in hand with our new government to secure a better life an better future for our children and safety for all, let us look at a bigger picture. lets look at a better NIGERIA that we will be proud to boost of. GOD BLESS MY NIGERIA
